The study visit was held in support of the project Ministry of Foreign Affairs No. 53/2014 "Alternative energy sources and innovative energy-saving technologies in development of Moldavian villages". Six guests - staff of Agency of Energy Efficiency, representatives of local authorities and NGOs, took part in this study visit.

The purpose of the visit was to deliver polish experiences in the field of the possibilities of using renewable and innovative energy-efficient technologies, that can be easily used in the development of Moldovan villages. During meeting in the Ministry of Environment, there have been presented best innovative solutions, mainly implemented by Polish companies, that are winners of GREENEVO contest (coordinated by the Ministry of Environment in Poland).

Examples have been shown for the use of renewable energy and fulfilling high environmental standards in rural areas, that were of particular interest to our Moldovan partners and a number of completed projects related to renewable energy, energy-saving technologies adapted to different users: public buildings, farms, businesses production and service.

Next days following companies and solutions were presented to our guests:
- MAKROTERM, Siedliska, małopolskie voivodeship (production lines for solar panels and equipment to improve the energy efficiency of buildings / cooperation between the various systems of heat supply)
- WSK Vatra, Kraków (geothermal heat pumps)
- M3 System, Michałowice, małopolskie voivodeship (energy-efficient building technologies)
- Nikol, Sobolewo, podlaskie voivodeship (heat pumps, energy recovery, heat recovery systems)
- Eskimo, Białystok (photovoltaic, refrigeration and air conditioning)
- Energy efficiency in agro-tourism (agroturism Bojarski Gościniec in Narewka, podlaskie voivodeship)
- The biogas plant in Ryboły, podlaskie voivodeship (company ADLER BIOGAS)

By the way, have been organized meetings with architects, contractors and users of such devices in rural conditions, presented the advantages and disadvantages of application of various solutions.
