European Commission Representation in Poland organized on 26-28 November 2014 study trip for NGOs to EU institutions in Brussels for preparation for the European Year for Development.

The trip was addressed to organizations involved in development cooperation. It was attended by 24 representatives of the NGO sector, one person from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and 2 people from the EC Representation in Poland. The visit started on 26.11.2014 by a briefing on the main lines of the European Year for Development at the office of the European Commission Representation in Poland. On 27-28.11.2014 participants had a meetings with representatives of the European Commission (in particular DG DEVCO), the European External Action Service (EEAS) and the European Parliament. The visit was an excellent opportunity not only to familiarize themselves with the EU institutions in Brussels, studying plans and possibilities for development cooperation support in 2014-2020, but also to establish contacts between Polish non-governmental organizations in the field of further development cooperation in the future.
