The aim of the project is to protect sources of drinking water in rural areas of Moldova and the implementation of model solutions for waste water cleaning in rural areas of Moldova.
The project consists of:
The organization of a study visit to Poland in order to transfer knowledge and experience of waste water cleaning system management in rural areas and rural design and construction of wastewater treatment filter plant-land.
The construction of two large model ecological waste water cleaning plant serving the new sewerage systems in villages Ecaterinovca and Crihana.
Run two smaller cleaning plant model located in difficult terrain, to support public buildings in the village Ignatei (local school and kindergarten).
Carried out in Moldova specialized workshops for the design, construction and operation of waste water cleaning plants in rural addressed to architects, contractors, representatives of environmental organizations and local authorities.
PLANNED RESULTS
Transfer of knowledge and Polish experience managing water waste eco-cleaning in rural areas (through the organization of a study visit to Poland and workshops during the construction of the plant in Moldova) - architects, engineers and laborers.
Construction of two model rural ecological water cleaning plant serving the new sewerage systems in villages Ecaterinovca and Crihana
Running two model plants located in difficult terrain, to support public buildings in the village Ignatei (local school and nursery)
Implementation of the project will allow in one hand to solve the problem of sewage treatment in rural areas Crihana and Ecaterinovca and public buildings in the village Ignatei, and in the other, allow the practical training of local partners (employees of local governments, environmental organizations, performers of future activities: architects, engineers and blue-collar workers) in the design, construction and operation of rural water waste plant.
The project has received recommendations from local municipalities, the network of environmental organizations and the Ministry of Ecology Moldova Moldova. It is in accordance with the National Strategy for the Development of Regional Strategy for Moldova and Development Center.
